Sierra Lauren Basquez is the artist behind Creative Couture Art, where fashion, creativity, and connection come to life.

Originally from Orlando, with chapters in Nashville, Atlanta, and now New York City, Sierra’s work is deeply shaped by her passion for bringing people together, transforming spaces, and artistic storytelling.

While studying Marketing at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, Sierra combined her creative instincts with leadership, guiding a team of 15 students to design and paint a 50-by-15-foot mural on campus. The project became a lasting visual landmark and earned her the Budnik Award for Transformation Through Creativity, presented by Emory’s administrative board, and inspired her to bring the same energy to the interior of NYC homes, including her own.

After college, Sierra began her professional career at Bloomingdale’s, first as a diamond buyer and later transitioning into luxury marketing. Immersed in high fashion, runway trends, and designer storytelling, she found constant inspiration in the elegance, confidence, and drama of the fashion world. That influence naturally spilled back into her art: quick sketches, live paintings, and bold figures that capture the energy of the runway with her own expressive flair.

Today, Creative Couture Art reflects the intersection of those worlds. Sierra offers live fashion and vogue-inspired artistry for events, large-scale custom murals, and abstract fine art pieces that have evolved into collectible prints. Each piece is designed not just to decorate a space, but to elevate it, making it feel intentional, personal, and alive.
